Daily Life Support
Our staff also provides support for students in their daily life outside of school.
For students who have limited Japanese skills at the beginning of their studies, our staff will assist and accompany them through various procedures and tasks, such as completing paperwork or visiting local offices.
| Procedure | Details |
|---|---|
| Administrative Procedures |
Upon arrival in Japan, you must complete resident registration and enroll in the national health insurance. If you move, you must also update your address. All official documents are in Japanese, but staff members will assist you during the procedures. |
| Opening a Bank Account |
It can be difficult for foreigners to open a bank account. However, it is necessary for receiving money from your home country or getting paid for part-time jobs. A staff member will accompany you during the procedure. |
| Mobile Phone |
Whether it’s a new contract or a SIM card, we can introduce you to partner mobile service providers. For those interested, it is also possible to prepare a SIM card before entering Japan. |
| Part-time Jobs |
We can help those who wish to find a part-time job. Even if your Japanese is not very good, we can introduce jobs that do not require high language proficiency. |
