Those with 89% or lower must handle the difficult procedure themselves.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Move-in Procedure (Address Registration)<\/td>\n<td>Within 14 days after arriving in Japan, you must register your address at your local city\/ward office.\nOnce registered, your address will be printed on your residence card.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>National Health Insurance<\/td>\n<td>You should apply for National Health Insurance at the same time as your address registration at your local city or ward office.\nEveryone living in Japan is required to join the national insurance system.\n\nBy enrolling, you will receive the same medical coverage as Japanese citizens, making healthcare more affordable during your stay.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Permission for Part-Time Work<\/td>\n<td>If you wish to do part-time work to help cover your tuition or living expenses, you must first obtain permission to engage in activities outside your residence status.\nThis permission must be granted before you begin working.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Part-Time Working Hours<\/td>\n<td>\u2460 During school terms: Up to 28 hours per week\n\u2461 During official school holidays such as Golden Week: Up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>If you work without permission or exceed the allowed working hours, it will be considered a violation, your residence status may be revoked, and you may be deported.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Opening a Bank Account<\/td>\n<td>A bank account is necessary to receive salary from part-time work.\nIt is also needed to receive funds from your home country for living expenses or second-year tuition.\nAfter enrollment, you will open an account at Japan Post Bank (Yucho Bank).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Mobile Phone \/ SIM Card Contract<\/td>\n<td>Having a personal phone number is very convenient for daily life in Japan.
